Italian – C2 level

Prior Knowledge and Skills

This course is for learners who have completed IML Level 5 Italian or have attained an equivalent level. They are able to perform competently in most language situations even though they may still be in the process of attaining full fluency.

Proficiency Level

The content of this course corresponds approximately to level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Course Aim

At the end of the course learners should be able participate effectively in a wide range of formal and informal conversations related to the functions required to socialise, exchange information, express feelings, opinions and attitudes, and negotiate meaning. Conducted mostly in Italian, the course also aims to deepen learners’ appreciation of Italian culture.
